Who's the Master?

So, Tiger Woods has let all of us know that he's returning to golf at the Masters. THANK GOD! I can't tell you how long I've been waiting to have my itching desire to have my, and perhaps all of the world's assumption confirmed! Well, yes I can - since the day he took a leave of absence from what is an irrelevant sport anyway. Tiger is a relevant athlete in a world (golf) that no one seems to care about unless he is there. To my point: the casual "rehab" fan around the world finally found out that they have a rehabilitation for rich, powerful, famous athletes that cheat on their wives. I guess he was "addicted" to cheating on his wife. Wow! Anyway, back to my point. I think that I'd heard of that before (I have lived a relatively sheltered life, though) but I know for sure I've heard of it now. Rehab for sex became more relevant because Tiger was there, not the next average Joe in the room next to him.
Make that same point with golf. The average fan, like myself, will pay attention to something big, like the Masters or the other majors, but not much else UNLESS there is a hype of Tiger playing on the weekend. Sad, but true.
So, Tiger was the lead of all the sports shows I like to watch yesterday, and he will be today...but at least we have the Big Dance starting tomorrow. Thank you, Jesus!
All that to say this: I hope Tiger comes back to golf and he gets on with his life...that's right, his LIFE. Professional golf is his job. Any other man who goes through this on his own level just moves on(through hard work) and fixes his mistakes with his wife and family and goes to work. We just happen to have the opportunity to watch this mortal begin his trek back to normalcy on national television. I'll watch and may root for him to be there at the end...so he can get beat by someone I'd cheer for. Such is the sports life. Be well and enjoy the show! PP
Oh yeah - Here's a big PS - ESPN, stop filling twitter and facebook with ads for Obama filling out his bracket! Making me seriously dislike you...
