Should be dancing....
I bet the Georgetowns, Vanderbilts, and Notre Dames of the world, as well as other high seeds who have seen their dance card vut short are saying that right now: "I should be dancing..." Well, guess what, you had your shot and, in losing in the first round, cut your dance short and have provided perhaps the two most exciting days of NCAA tournament history. Almost all of the games have gone down to the wire and, even though my team's no longer in play, they provided me a dramatic performance on their way out. So, as the second round plays out over the next two days...."I should be dancing..." Be well and enjoy the show! PP

The possibility of a Cinderella team emerging is always one of the elements that makes the big dance so popular. So the dream lives on for at least one more game for the victors.
ReplyDeletePercy's Post...Pete I love the idea....I would have to agree with you Georetown, Vanderbilt and Notre Dame did Two step there way right out of the big dance. Upset or Poor performance???? Each of the three teams had a chance to win ....but the lack of made free throws and the turnovers killed them. Two big rules from High School ball.....Make the Free shots and hold on to the ball. GO Wildcats!!!
ReplyDeleteWowoweewhoa! This tourney has been full of upsets! See how exciting a playoff in CFB would be?
